Description
The inside space

With a warmly welcoming atmosphere like a country house hotel, this comfortable, elegant, well-appointed 2 bedroom apartment gives you everything you need for a wonderfully memorable experience of Edinburgh.

The living room and both bedrooms have spectacular views across the city taking in its mediaeval and Georgian architecture, Princes Street, the Firth of Forth and beyond to the hills of Fife.

Two rooms have windows seats in panelled recesses where you can put your feet up, relax and be inspired by all you see: daytime’s clear extensive views and night-time the tingling atmosphere of a magical extensive fairyland of lights and differing perspectives.

The sizable windows mean that you can enjoy the outlook from the dining table or if so inclined, simply from your bed, feeling part of everything whilst remaining in quiet and comfort.

The new well-appointed kitchen makes eating ‘at home’ very easy if you want a change from the many excellent restaurants and cafés immediately around you.

The apartment’s decoration is designed to give a sense of historic Edinburgh when key Enlightenment figures lived on the Royal Mile and its environs. The famous caricaturist John Kay lived next door and some copies of his work are displayed in the apartment as well as others providing insight into Edinburgh’s fascinating history.
