Description
Welcome to Corragaun, a rural expanse along the Wild Atlantic Way on the West Coast of Ireland. This stunning seaside house is surrounded by 12 acres of private land, offers panoramic views across the Atlantic Ocean and is a 5-minute walk to Silver Strand, one of Ireland’s most isolated sandy beaches.

The house is beautifully furnished and offers 5-bedrooms that can accommodate up to 11 guests, making it the perfect place for a large family or group of friends looking to enjoy an idyllic holiday by the ocean.

The surrounding area offers a wide range of activities to enjoy throughout your stay including surfing, kite surfing, beach camping, mountain-walking and fishing. Surfing is particularly popular in the area and beaches, such as Carrowniski Strand, rent out surfboards and wet-suits onsite. You can also charter a boat to go deep sea fishing. The area is renowned for hiking and mountain-walking on Mweelrea and Croagh Patrick, the latter of which is the site of an annual monastery pilgrimage.

For those who want to venture further afield, the islands of Inis Turk, Inis Boffin and Inis Clare offer the chance to explore the isolated communities at the outermost reaches of Ireland’s West.

The closest pub is a 10-minute drive away. There is also a wide selection of pubs, bars and restaurants in Louisburgh (20-minute drive away) and Westport (40-minute drive away.)

For guests who'd rather stay indoors, there are table tennis facilities onsite in the garage, an array of board and card games to choose from and a flat-screen TV with a DVD player to keep you entertained.

This house is managed by ALTIDO. From affordable 1-bed flats to grand family homes, we are proud to offer our guests a wide selection of top-quality properties, all underpinned with hotel-standard hospitality services.
